The Buffalo LVT-4 is a versatile machine that can travel on land or water. The main change from previous LVTs was the relocation of the engine to the front along with the introduction of a rear ramp. These changes resulted in the LVT-4. Over 8,300 were built. Out of these the US Army received 6,083, and the British Army 500.
